This rococo château built in 1774–77 by Count Jean-Antoine Harbuvale de Chamarré is often called the “Little Schönbrunn” or the “Czech Versailles”. The château was built in the style of a French summer seat. The main multi-storey building has a mansard roof and a richly decorated front facade. The stucco relief and stone sculpture decorations were renewed during reconstruction work at the turn of the 20th century. The château facility includes an entry gate and a French garden. The garden houses administrative buildings and an English landscape park with a sandstone Way of the Cross (1767) leading to the remains of the original gothic castle. The building of the former granary is home to the First Czech Museum of Cycling, while the château houses a permanent exhibition of historical furniture. The château stables and the farm with red and fallow deer are also worth visiting.
